I started working with Karli back in October of this past year. I had played sports for most of my life - grade school, high school, and college - so for as long as I can remember someone was always telling me when, where, or how I was going to work out and stay in shape. When that ended this past May, I found myself struggling with finding a plan I liked on my own. I had just started nursing school in a new city and was extremely stressed and anxious, so I just stopped going to the gym altogether. I found myself feeling “blah,” constantly getting sick, and unhappy with where I was mentally and physically, so when Karli reached out I thought it was the perfect opportunity. At first, I was a little hesitant about starting out because I was not proud of where I had gotten and wondered what people would think of me, but I am so glad that I decided to invest in myself and my health.

Since starting a few months ago, I have noticed so many changes in my mindset and confidence. I am feeling stronger, happier, less anxious, less bloated, more comfortable in my own skin, and healthier overall. What I loved most about Elevate & Thrive was that the focus was never strictly on “getting skinnier” or “losing weight,” but instead the mental changes that play a huge role in our overall health. I want to point out that this program is not some drastic life change that will leave you feeling deprived from eating what you want or enjoying time with friends / family. Instead, it is based on the 80/20 rule, which allows you to enjoy life without restriction - if you want to go out one night or enjoy your favorite burger that is OKAY.

Since starting, I have eaten more food than I ever had in my life and still am seeing the results I had hoped for. Similarly, the workout programs she creates for you are customized to your gym or home setup and offer any modification you need. I have truly enjoyed every workout split I have had so far and how convenient they are to have on your phone, which allows me to enjoy my time in the gym rather than feeling anxious about what workout I am going to do that day.

Karli had always stressed the importance of having a balance and that is ultimately why I loved her program so much and found success in it. She has been such a support system and person to lean on throughout the last couple of months. I looked forward to hearing from her every week as her messages always made me more confident and wanted to push through any challenges I had. She is so accommodating with any life situation and will do her best to make it work for you. If anyone is contemplating starting with Karli, I would tell you that it is 100% worth it and you will be so happy you did a few months down the road.
